University of the Punjab offers a number of financial supports to its students like:
University of the Punjab Merit Based Scholarships:
These scholarships are announced every year in spring semester. Students are selected on the basis of highest CGPA of last two semesters. The list of students is finalized by the Exam branch.
University of the Punjab Financial Aid Scholarships:
These scholarships are announced once in a year in spring semesters. Students may apply for these scholarships once these are announced. The students are finalized by the Financial Aid Committee.
External Scholarships:
Professional Educational Foundation (PEF) : PKR 70,000 approximately per year
This merit-cum-need based scholarship covers full tuition fee of morning program. 84 students are availing this scholarship from last 2 years. Around 100 PEF scholarship are available each year.
Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF): PKR 35,000 approximately per year
HEC Need Based Scholarship Program: PKR 68,000 approximately per year

BISE Merit Based Scholarships: There are a certain number of merit-based scholarships in each district. According to that number, top students with respect to marks obtained in HSSC (also enrolled in public colleges) will be awarded these scholarships.
Rehmatul-Lil-Alameen Scholarship Program: There are 891 distinct programs in universities of Punjab. Registrars of Universities will provide top candidate in each of their registered program to HED for award of Scholarships.
